Blink-182's Chainsmokers collaboration dropping this week

Walt Disney Television/Paula LoboBlink-182‘s long-teased collaboration with The Chainsmokers has a release date.

According to an Instagram post from the DJ duo, the track, which is titled “P.S. I Hope You’re Happy,” will be released this Friday, December 6.

News that the two groups would be working together first arrived last January. This past week, Blink joined The Chainsmokers to debut the song live in Los Angeles.

Speaking to ABC Audio earlier this year, Blink bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus said that the joint track is “a really cool song.”

The Chainsmokers famously name-checked Blink in their inescapable hit “Closer,” in which featured vocalist Halsey sings, “Stay and play that Blink-182 song/That we beat to death in Tucson.”
