Courtesy of ToolLast week, Tool teased a new concert announcement with a picture of an amphitheater with the date “06-24” mowed into the lawn. Now the enigmatic rockers have officially announced the details of the show, taking place June 24 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater outside Los Angeles.
What’s more, the show will feature a lineup including Primus, Melvins and DJ sets by The Crystal Method, plus a “special guest” to be announced later.
Tickets to the show will go on sale this Thursday, April 13 at 10 a.m. PT via LiveNation.com.
Tool will kick off their summer tour on May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia. In the meantime, frontman Maynard James Keenan is currently on the road with his other band, A Perfect Circle.
