Tool extends summer tour

Credit: Tim CadienteYou’ll have three more opportunities to see the ever-reclusive Tool live this summer. The band has added three dates to their upcoming tour: June 18 in Nampa, Idaho, June 21 in San Jose and June 23 in Sacramento.

Members of the Tool Army fan club will receive access to a pre-sale for VIP packages starting Wednesday, April 5 at 10 a.m. PT, while tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m. local time. For all ticket info, visit ToolBand.com.

Tool’s summer tour kicks off May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia. Prior to the trek, Maynard James Keenan will hit the road with his other band, A Perfect Circle, which will be releasing new material for the first time in over a decade this year.

Tool has also been working on a decade-in-the-making album, though, in typically cryptic fashion, they haven’t shared any concrete info on when that material might be released.
