Pearl Jam ex-drummer Dave Krusen hints at Rock Hall performance

Credit: Kevin Mazur/Getty ImagesThe Pearl Jam drummer saga has a new twist.

Dave Krusen, the man behind the drum kit for Pearl Jam’s legendary debut album, Ten, is hinting via a social media post that he may be performing with his former bandmates at PJ’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, set for an April 7 ceremony at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Krusen posted a photo on his Twitter account of his drum kit set up in the corner of a room, just waiting for someone to sit down and start bashing away. The photo has fueled speculation that Krusen could be part of a Rock Hall jam session, despite his less-than-chummy relationship with the rest of the group.

As previously reported, Pearl Jam ran into some controversy when it was originally announced that only Krusen and current drummer Matt Cameron would be inducted into the Rock Hall. The band eventually said they’d also invite the other three men who’ve kept time for PJ: Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons.
