In a nearly three-minute video posted on the band’s Facebook page, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer share their thoughts on the topic, “What Drives You?”

Davis stresses the importance of interaction with band’s incredible loyal fan base, saying he feeds off the energy of the concert crowds for an experience he likens to “a therapy session.”

Shaffer mentions the groups that influence Korn, including Faith No More, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sepultura and, especially, Mr. Bungle, the little-known experimental rock band fronted by Faith No More’s Mike Patton.

Korn has three upcoming festival performances:  May 6 at Carolina Rebellion in Concord, North Carolina, May 20 at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio, and July 15 at Chicago Open Air.
