Warped Tour announces 2017 lineup and schedule

Courtesy of Live NationGet ready to rock: the Vans Warped Tour is back.

Details of the 23rd edition of the annual punk/skate spectacle have been unveiled. The 41-date trek begins June 16 in Seattle and ends August 6 in Pomona, California.

Featured acts include Sick Of It All, CKY, GWAR, The Adolescents, The Alarm, Strung Out, T.S.O.L, Hatebreed, Emmure, Anti-Flag, The Ataris, Bowling for Soup, Hawthorne Heights and six dozen more, spread across an impressive seven different stages.

Included among those stages will be the “Mutant Party Zone,” two stages devoted to the heaviest sounds, and the Full Sail Stage, offering the latest up-and-coming acts.

The Vans Warped Tour bills itself as the largest and longest-running traveling music festival in the U.S. Founder Kevin Lyman says in a statement, “As we enter our 23rd year on the road, continuing our mission of music, philanthropy and education is what I look forward to most.”

He adds, “The Vans Warped Tour is not for all, but every summer I look forward to seeing those fans who do chose to come and engage and be a positive force in our community.”

As in years past, the Warped Tour will include participating from a wide range of non-profit groups such as Teens With a Purpose, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Planned Parenthood and Project HEAL.

Lyman explains, “Since its inception, the Vans Warped Tour created a place where fans are not only inspired by their favorite artists, but also inspired to work with a cause they care about.”

Warped Tour ticket information and full lineups are available on the tour’s official website. The first 500 tickets sold for each show will be at the lowest price available and include a digital download of the tour’s official 50-song compilation.
