Lacuna Coil unveil “Blood, Tears, Dust” video

Francesco Prandoni/RedfernsVeteran Italian metal band Lacuna Coil have released a new video for “Blood, Tears, Dust,” a track from their 2016 album, Delirium.

Writing on the band’s Facebook page, Lacuna Coil frontwoman Christina Scabbia says she’s a big fan of the new video. She enthuses, “I love how [the director] filmed this. The photography, the colors and the hints in the story are perfectly placed and it is the first time we are really ‘acting.’”

Scabbia also teases, “This video is only a part of a much bigger plan…stay tuned. Hope you enjoy this video as much as I do!”

Hinting at things to come, Scabbia also says the video is “part of something bigger…This is the core of who we are as a band: the sweat, the dirt, the raw energy. It’s our insanity and all of us feeling comfortable with it.”

Delirium was produced by Lacuna Coil bassist and main songwriter Marco “Maki” Coti-Zelati, who also created the album artwork, based on a session with Italian photographer Alessandro Olgiati.
