Brian Rasic/WireImageRapper/actor Ice-T holds nothing back with Bloodlust, the new album from his hardcore band Body Count. The disc features contributions from Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe and Max Cavalera of Soufly and Sepultura.
The album is due for release on March 31, and fans can now watch the first in a series of webisodes that detail the making of the new album. Bloodlust also includes a medley of the Slayer songs “Postmortem” and “Raining Blood.”
Regarding the album’s title, Ice-T told Revolver magazine, “Bloodlust is part of the human makeup. Murder is about as normal as love. It’s in our nature to want to get violent and kill, but we know there are consequences. That’s why we like violent movies, video games and combat sports. It’s in our DNA. It’s what we are.”
