Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach contributes grunts, yells & chanting to video game “For Honor”

Credit: Travis ShinnKillswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach has lent his vocals to For Honor, a new video game that finds vikings, knights and samurai locked in an epic war. Leach doesn’t sing in the game, though — according to the musician, he makes “grunting, yelling and chanting noises” for the viking faction.

“Not only do I play games but I also have Viking heritage so this project was perfect for me!” Leach writes in an Instagram post. “So while you’re playing the game you’ll hear me adding to the ambience of the game play!”

You can also hear Leach on the For Honor soundtrack, which, like the game, is available now. Leach is featured on the songs “Unleash the Drakar,” “Ragnar’s Rise” and “The Great Raid Begins.”

Killswitch Engage will hook up with Anthrax later this month for their co-headlining KillThrax tour, which kicks off March 29 in Montclair, New Jersey.
