We all just wanna be big rockstars: Nickelback’s “All the Right Reasons” certified diamond

ABC/Tim OgierNickelback has 10 million reasons to feel happy right now: the band’s 2005 album All the Right Reasons has been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America for 10 million combined sales and streams

“We’re very thankful to have an album that so many people have appreciated,” guitarist Ryan Peake says in a statement. “We never imagined this would be possible and for that we are humbled and so grateful 10 million times over. We are honored to have reached this milestone with All the Right Reasons, none of which would be possible without all the amazing people that have supported us.”

All the Right Reasons, Nickelback’s fifth studio album, gave the band their first and only number-one album on the Billboard 200, and has spent over 200 weeks on the chart. The album boasted hit singles in “Photograph,”  “Animals,” “Savin’ Me,” “Rockstar,” “Far Away” and “If Everyone Cared.”

“Thank you to everyone that has embraced All the Right Reasons in their own way,” adds frontman Chad Kroeger. “To this day, it remains a very special album to us and we are truly humbled to all of you for making every dream we could have hoped for come true.”

Nickelback’s ninth studio album, titled Feed the Machine, will arrive on June 9. The band will be touring North America this summer in support of Feed the Machine, starting June 23 in Noblesville, Indiana.
